After a relaxing few days with my in-laws, I’ve got to ask you all a question. No, no, no…I have the best in-laws in the world. I already know that! Just kidding. (But seriously…)

My question for you on this second week of our Summer Daze series is what are you planning on reading this summer?! About six months ago, I found this list of 100 Books to Read in a Lifetime, and I have accepted the challenge! Many were read years ago, but I am going through the whole list as I have the time to read for pleasure. Currently on loan are:

• The Secret History by Donna Tartt
• Valley of the Dolls by Jacqueline Susann
• Unbroken by Lauren Hillenbrand

I’ve also got Gilead by Marilynne Robinson on tap, so I’ll be doing a lot of reading in the coming weeks!
